Rec. 5.5 p.m. Sydney, April 27. The bantamweight boxers Billy McAllister (Australia) and Johnny Peters (England) fought a draw at the Sydney Stadium last night. The large crowd hooted the decision.
Critics considered Peters won most rounds from a purely technical point of view, while as a fight it was McAllister’s. It was a battle of wits, and a draw could-be the only decision.
