Ree. 5.5 p.m. Capetown, April 24. Co-operation between South Africa and Australia in the world’s wool markets was definitely established at a conference here, when Mr. W. P. representing Australian wool growers met the South African Wool Council. Pending receipt of a report from the council’s committee it was decided to make economic investigations overseas into the differences between the price realised by the farmer and that paid by the wool consumer for the manufactured article.
