WEATHER FAIR AT FIRST.

By Tciegraph.—Press Association.

v Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be fair generally at first but will soon become dull and misty with rain developing in the far north and south and gradually extending to most districts. Temperatures will gradually become milder. The anticyclone which has been covering New Zealand during the past few days is still centred near Cook Strait. A deep depression, however, is located on the western Tasman Sea. Winds will be south-easterly at first about Cook Strait but easterly to northerly will prevail' and freshen. Seas will be rather rough north of East Cape and in Cook Strait, but elsewhere smooth to moderate.
