FIRE BRIGADE AFFAIRS. • At the fortnightly''meeting. .of the Inglewood Volunteer Fire Brigade, Superintendent Crossman reported : that the run-off for the Kennedy -Cups had been completed. He congratulated the winners, Fireman "Gillice and Messenger King, on their line performances. It' was decided to .present the cups at a so-j cial evening to be arranged, at which the donor of the cups will be present. . The Patea Fire Brigade extended an invitation to attend a smoke concert in honour of Branchman E. Nielson attaining gold star honours. A party will’ be present from the Inglewood brigade.
