SANDERS CUP YACHTING

AVALON AND EILEEN WIN. Gy Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Two more Sanders Cup races were sailed to-day. The Avalon (Auckland) won the first by two minutes 43 seconds from Eileen (Otago), with Colleen (Canterbury) third and Clyde (Wellington) fourth. The second race wan won by the Eileen, which was the only boat to finish. This was an eventful race. Heavy squalls were experienced. The Colleen and the Clyde both retired on being left far behind by the other two. The Avalon was leading the Eileen on the final beat up the harbour when she capsized, leaving the Eileen to finish alone. The Eileen, now has two wins and the Avalon one.
