CONTROL MOVE OPPOSED. VIEWS OF WANGANUI FARMERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night.The fixing of a minimum price for wool was opposed by the Wanganui Provincial Farmers’ Union to-day, the president (Mr. T. Currie) stating that the project seemed impossible. It buyers were doing well they would buy well. If growers tied buyers’ hands the trouble would come back on their own heads. • '
Mr. W. Morrison said that if other countries agreed to fixation matters would be all right. A motion opposing a wool board and price fixation was carried.
