AFTER A DRINKING BOUT
AN OLD. MAN DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Waimate, Last Night. At the inquest on John Joseph Campbell, an old man who resided at Studholme Junction, a verdict was returned that deceased met his death by drowning. Evidence went to show that he had been drinking heavily and tied his hands together and plunged into a creek with the object of life.
