BANK DISCONTINUES FINANCE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Jan. 17. . The Commonwealth Bank hae decided to discontinue the funds for the construction of houses by the Capital Commission under the Commonwealth housing plan. Private building has practically ceased, and many workmen have been dismissed.
