SERVICE AFTER SALES
BRITISH MOTOR REQUIREMENT. By Telegraph—Tress Assn. —Copyright. London, Jan. 10. “When I was in Australia I found the Australian Prime Minister had bought two English motors. One met with an accident. lie waited , three months to obtain spare .parts, and was then billed for £BB. The Australian Governor-General had a similar experience; Sales must be followed by service.”, go said Mr. Duckham, in his .presidential address to the Export Society. “It would be absolutely wrong to rely entirely on Dominion trade,” added Mr. Duckham. “The world is our dominion for exports, but British exporters are now faced with competitive prices and competitive quality. A big trade with the Dominions means a big trade both ways. We cannot expect the Dominions to give us a great deal without doing -something for them."
