DEATH OF LONELY MAN
BODY FOUND IN A DITCH.

Invercargill, Last Night. The local police advise that the body of Patrick Francis Mulligan, aged 70, was found this morning in an advanced stage of decomposition in a ditch which led to his hut in the bush at Tuatapere. He lived alone and was last seen about Christmas time.
