SCATTERED SHOWERS LATER.

Wellington, Last Night.
The weather will be mainly fair to fine but scattered showers will develop later in western districts from Taranaki southward. Temperatures will be warmer to-morrow. There will be south-west-erly winds from Canterbury northwards and easterly thence southwards. They will be light to moderate generally. Later winds will veer to northerly south of New Plymouth and Castle Point. Seas will be smooth to moderate.
