SCHACHT’S WINGS CLIPPED
ATTITUDE AT HAGUE REGRETTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. Berlin, January 14. Even the Nationalist official organ regrets Herr Schacht's attitude at the Hague in threatening the Reichbank’s non-participation in the international bank. Others insist that there must be an instant decision who shall rule Germany, Herr Schacht or the Government. It is reliably reported that Herr Mueller, the Chancellor, concurs in the move to clip Herr Schacht’s wings. Indeed, there are indications that Herr Schacht has already been disciplined. He made a statement: “If the Government orders the Reichsbank to participate, I must obey.”
