GENERAL RAIN EXPECTED.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will’ be dull, misty and unsettled, with rain almost generally, and heavy falls in western and southern districts. Temperatures will be cool in the south, and elsewhere mild. Winds will be south-east to south-west in the f: - south; elsewhere north to west and moderate to strong and in places of gale force. Seas will be rather rough to rough on the west coast and about Cook and Foveaux Straits, and smooth to moderate elsewhere in coastal waters, but rough .off-shore.
