ROAD CYCLING RECORD MADE
WELLINGTON RIDER’S FINE FEAT.

Wellington, Last Night. S. Wright, a member of the Port Nicholson Amateur Road and Cycling Club, who in April established a record for the journey between Auckland and Wellington, lowered the record for the trip between Wanganui and Wellington to-day by one hour 29 minutes. Th® old record was 8| hours. Wright left Wanganui at 7.29 a.m. and arrived at the Wellington post office at 2.45 p.m.
