Co.)The Progress arrived at New Plymouth from Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington yesterday and was to sail last night for Port Waikato. (Holm and Co.) The Kaimanawa is to load at Dunedin on January 4 for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Nelson and New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth on January 12 and will proceed later to Westport. (U.S.S. Co.). WAIRUNA EXPECTED ON. MONDAY. The Wairuna is expected at New Plymouth from Dunedin at daylight on Monday to discharge 1600 tons of cargo loaded at Pacific Coast ports. She is expected to complete by Thursday night and sail for Wellington. CORNWALL FROM DUNEDIN. The Federal Line steamer Cornwall is expected to leave Dunedin on January 4 for New Plymouth. She is due at New Plymouth on January 6 to complete discharge of 1600 tons of Liverpool cargo. The vessel will commence loading here for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, by lifting 1500 boxes of butter, 2300 crates of cheese and 10,650 freight careases of meat. She will subsequently load at Wanganui roadstead, Wellington, Gisborne, Napier and Auckland, and is to sail finally from Auckland on February 6. \ • GOLDEN CROSS AT AUCKLAND. The American steamer Golden Cross arrived at Auckland from Los Angeles yesterday morning to commence discharge of the local consignment of her cargo of case oil and general merchandise from Pacific Coast, Canadian and American ports. The vessel will later complete discharge at .Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due at Wellington on January 7. RANGITATA DUE AT AUCKLAND. On her maiden voyage, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s new motorliner Rangitata is due at Auckland tomorrow afternoon. The vessel has passengers and mails for New Zealand and a- cargo of general merchandise from Englaiill for discharge at Auckland and Wellington, where she is due on January 5. She is one of the three new 18,000,ton liners built for the company, the other two being the Rangitiki, which has already visited Auckland, and the Rangitane, which is on her maiden voyage, en route from London to Wellington and Auckland, and is due at Wellington on January 22. TOFUA FOR THE ISLANDS. With passengers, mails and a quantity of general cargo the Union Company’s steamer Tofua will leave Auckland thia morning on the round trip of the islands of Fiji, Samoa and Tonga. ARMADALE DUE FROM NEW YORK. With general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Armadale is due at Auckland from New York this afternoon. The vessel is due at Wellington on January 7. MAIMOA TO LEAVE FOR ENGLAND. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line’s steamer Maimoa, at present loading refrigerated and general cargo for England at Auckland, is announced to sail for Napier at four o’clock to-morrow afternoon. . The vessel will complete her cargo at Napier and sail for London, via Panama. The Maimoa. was at New Plymouth about the middle of this month and loaded 5000 boxes of butter, 7000 crates of cheese and . 13,000 freight carcases of meat. ■
