YOUNG MAN DISAPPEARS
DROWNING ON OTAKI BEACH. Bj Telegraph—Press Asacclatlon. Levin, Dec. 27. Waldye Sb. George, aged 27, disappeared yesterday afternoon while bathing on the Otaki beach. He was a member of a family picnic party. He intimated his intention of going into the water and was not noticed by others in th© party, and it was thought he was sun bathing. In the evening he was reported missing and his clothes were found on the beach, which was searched without finding any trace. St. George was employed in Wellington and was visiting his home for the holidays.
