RAIN DEVELOPING.
Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be cloudy but mainly fine in the eastern districts, and elsewhere unsettled, with rain developing. Temperatures will be mild to warm; Winds will be north to north-west and moderate to strong, reaching gale force at times in Cook and Foveaux Straits. Seas will, be smooth to moderate generally at first, but rising on the west coast and in Cook and Foveaux Straits.
