A joyful start for Christmas at home, which for one man also meant seeing his new-born baby, ended tragically when an aeroplane crashed in the Bolling field killing five men, including the Massachusetts Congressman, Mr. William Kay nor. The ’plane had gained an altitude of about 300 feet when the motor failed and the machine crashed swiftly to earth. All the four passengers and the pilot died instantly. The dead included Mr. Kaynor’s secretary and Captain Harry Dinger, an Army pilot.
