NOTED MEN PROMOTE SCHEME. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Cairo, Dec. 18. An international memorial is being raised at the burial place of Rupert Brooke, the English poet, on the island of Skyros. M. Venezelos, Sir Percy Loraine, British Minister at Athens, Messrs. Drinkwater and Galsworthy and M. Andre Maurois are patrons of the scheme. The sum of £3OO has already been subscribed in Greece, where Rupert Brooke is regarded as another Byron.
