DOUBLE TRAGEDY IN SYDNEY
MUBDBB AND SUICIDE SUSPECTED By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, Dec. 20. What appears to be a case of murder and suicide has been discovered in the Punchbowl suburb. Two bodies, believed to be those of Wallace Dude, aged 32, and Jessie Smith, aged 20, were found in the scrub. A week’s exposure to the weather and the ravages of ants made the bodies almost unrecognisable. The theory of a double murder has not been dispensed with. Both victims were shot through the temple.
