Port Darwin (8179 tons), is due at New Plymouth on December 27 to commence loading for the Home markets. She will take 15,000 boxes of butter and 9000 crates of cheese from New Plymouth. The Corinna loaded at Dunedin Tuesday and will proceed via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Nelson to New Plymouth,’being due at New Plymouth on Monday. She will then sail to Westport. (U.S.S. Co.) The Progress will load again at Dunedin to-day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth and Port Waikato, and is due at New Plymouth on Tuesday. (Hohn and Co.) ONEHUNGA FERRY SERVICE. The Ngapuhi is due at New Plymouth to-morrow morning from Onehunga. She will return north the same evening. On Monday, December 23, Friday, December 27, and Monday, December 30 and January 6, the Ngapuhi will leave Onehunga at 4 p.m., instead of 3.30 p.m., while on Thursday, January 2 she will leave there at 6.30 p.m. The usual service will continue through the holidays with the exception that .the Ngapuhi will leave Onehunga on'Friday, December 27 in lieu-of Thursday, arriving at New Plymouth on Saturday, December 28 and returning to Onehunga the same night. PORT CAMPBELL’S DEPARTURE. The Port Campbell is scheduled to sail to-day for Wanganui, Lyttelton, Timaru, Port Chalmers and Wellington to complete loading for Home. MAIMOA TO SAIL TO-DAY. At present loading 5060 boxes of butter, 7000 crates of cheese and 13,000 freight carcases of meat for Home, the Maimoa is expected to complete at 3 o’clock this afternoon and sail for Bluff, Wellington, Auckland and Napier. A. AND A. NEW. YORK STEAMERS. The New Zealand Chipping Company has received advice that the steamer City of Wellington, under charter to the A. and A. Line, wa: scheduled to leave New York for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin yesterday. She is exnoctcd at Auckland about January 21. She is to be followed by the Otaklj which is to leave New York on December 31, also for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, The Winton is to leave New York on January 25 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. WAIRUNA DISCHARGING.

To continue discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo the Union Company’s Wairuna was to leave Lyttelton yesterday for Dunedin, New Plymouth, Napier and Auckland. She will then return to Vancouver via Fiji.'

MAT.ANGI REPLACES THE NGAIO.

The Anchor Company’s steamer Matangi has completed her extensive overhaul and alterations, and took up the Ngaio’s running in the Wellington-Nel-son service last night, leaving Wellington at the usual time —7.30 p.m.—for Nelson.

CORNWALL TO LOAD. The Cornwall, on completion of her discharge at New Plymouth, will commence loading on January 6 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. She will subsequently load also at Wanganui and Wellington, arriving here on January 13 . The vessel, will leave Wellington on January 18 for Gisborne, Napier and Auckland, and is to sail finally from Auckland on February 6.
