QUESTION OF DEAN’S FITNESS
LITIGATION NOT TO CONTINUE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Dec. 6. In the Supreme Court the proceedings between Dean Barnett and Bishop Cherrington ended this morning, an interim injunction, agaist the Bishop’s proposed inquiry into the dean’s fitness to hold his > present office being dismissed by Si’f*' Alexander Herdman on the application of both parties. The withdrawal of the case follows the agreement to refer the dispute to a committee appointed by Archbishop Averill.
