CRASH ON LEVEL CROSSING
DRIVER’S ASTONISHING. ESCAPE.

A motor truck driven by a married man named Buckley (on hid first job after being a long time unemployed) was struck’ the inward-bound train at the Avondale level crossing thte morning. The driver had an astonishing escape, being thrown clear of the truck and picked up 20 yards away covered with wreckage. His injuries are not serious. The locomotive was damaged and- was unable to continue its journey.
