ELTHAM DEFEATS STRATFORD.

14 OF TOTAL OF 19 WERE EXTRAS.

There was a complete reversal of “form” on Eltham’s part in the match with Stratford at Eltham. Stratford scored 23 in the first innings, and Iqw as this seems Eltham retaliated with only 19, of which 14 were extras. It looked like an easy three-point win for Stratford, especially when the second innings totalled 45, but Eltham came to light with 50, which was just enough to give the home team a 3-point win, for the totals were 69 to 68 against Stratford.
