DEBT PAYMENTS TO AMERICA
RECEIPTS LARGELY EXCEEDED. BRITAIN’S STILL BIG BURDEN. British Wireless. Rugby, Nov. 20. In a written reply to a Parliamentary question, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Philip Snowden, states that the excess of British payments to the United States Government over Great Britain’s aggregate receipts from Allied debts and reparations up till March 31, 1929, was £149,925,000.
