Inglewood Rivals met Eltham at Inglewood and secured a comfortable two-point win. Eltham was making a big score when wickets were drawn. Inglewood Star went to Waitara and was beaten by the home team by 15 runs in a two-innings match. Inglewood Rivals scored 126 in their first innings. The bowling of Davidson and Arthur was dangerous. HAWERA DEFEATS STRATFORD. THREE POINTS TO SOUTHERNERS. Playing at Stratford yesterday, Stratford Thursday cricketers suffered an overwhelming defeat at th© hands of a Hawera Wednesday team, which won by an innings and 77 runs. Brilliant fielding, combined with the excellent bcwling of Cate and Worrall, was responsible for dismissing the home team for small scores in each innings. In the first innings Stratford could compile only 19 runs, every chance offered being eagerly snapped up by keen fieldsmen.
