AMUSEMENT PARK LOSSES. TRANSFER TO AUSTRALIA MOOTED. Auckland, November 12. At the annual meeting of shareholders of the Luna Park Amusement Company, the chairman, Mr. Henry Haywood, said that the past year’s accounts showed a loss of £3577. He favoured an endeavour to transfer the company and its property to Australia, but negotiations were not yet definite. It was resolved that the sum for- disbursement among the directors be reduced to £l5O, and that the Harbour Board be asked to reduce the ground rent from £2OOO to £lOOO.
