MAGISTRATE’S COURT
CIVIL CASES AT INGLEWOOD. Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., heard a short schedule of civil cases at the Magistrate’s Court,'lnglewood, yesterday. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given the Commissioner of Taxes against A. J. Scott, £13195. 9d. (costs 225), and for Henry Watson against H. and J. Watkins, £39 2s. Bd. (costs £4 10s. (id.).
At the suit of F. L. Standing, G. A. Smith was ordered to pay £6 9s. (costs 15s. 6d.) forthwith, in default 7 days’ imprisonment. G. A. Smith was ordered to pay £l7 7s. (costs 218. 6d.) to Harris and Co. forthwith, in default 17 days’ imprisonment.
