Bennish, was taken to. hos* '/ . pital on Saturday evening suffering from- C a broken leg which resulted from a col* ?; lision at the Monica Park Speedway. Bennish, who arrived in New Zealand last week, was making his first appearance. He was riding in the prin-?|. cipal event of the evening, chain of his machine broke. An Auck- J land rider, A. Matson, was racing behind Bennish, and a collision could not be avoided. Matson was bruised and shaken. - ■
