Prices for the various classes submitted ranged as follows: —Best fat cows, £lO to £ll 175.; lighter sorts, £8 10s, A to £9; fat heifers, £lO 55.; good-col-oured 3 and 4-year-old bullocks, £9 10s. to £10.; black and white,. and-mixed coloured sorts, £8 14s. to £8 155.; Jersey bullocks, £7 10s.; 2-year-olqgtt. steers, £7 to £7 Ils.; yearling. Angus steers, £6 10s.; others, £5 4s.j%ig§ good framed and good coloured young; store cows, up to £7 135.; others, 10s. to £6 125.; mixed coloured •3-year-bld empty heifers, in good Btbre?g| condition, up to £8; others, £5 17s. ..to £6; best cows with calves at foot, up to £8 2s. fiffi; mixed coloured sorts, 15s. to £G. , At Okau the following day a entry of all classes came forward and met with - equally as keen, a demand was in evidence at Awakino, and whole offering was subject to competition, resulting in a full clearance again being effected. Prices obtained at this centre ranged as follows;—Prime: fat young Jersey cows, up to £l2; Jersey and Holstein cross, 3 to 31-year-old bullocks, £8 17s. fid.; 3-year-old Jer- ■ sey bullocks, £7; 2 to 21-year-old Polled Angus steers,, £7 195.; yearling Polled . i.
