MAN DISCOVERED STABBED
SENSATION IN WELLINGTON REFUSAL TO NAME ASSAILANT. HELPED TO HOSPITAL BY PASSER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Stabbed in the. .lower part of his body, Robert John Ashley, a boot-finisher, 43 yeans of age, residing at No. 8 Fifeshire Avenue, was assisted into the Wellington hospital about 8.30 p.m. by a passerby who had found him in Riddiford Street. The injured man had received a fairly deep cut in the . lower part of the body. He was immediately attended to. Ashley refused to disclose the name of his assailant, who is thought to have been an acquaintance.
