QUESTION. OF SANITATION. Sanitation at the Ngamotu beach was discussed at a meeting of the committee on Wednesday and it was decided that a deputation .should wait on the borough council. . , .The . chairman, Air. R, Deare, and the secretary, Mr. R. Ellis, were authorised to- have .-the seaside cottages renovated for Christmas visitors. They were also to have the septic tank cleaned and the drainage in connection : with • the tank extended. The annual picnic-is to be held-at the beach on New Y'ear’s Day. The committee expressed its willingness to meet a. deputation from the New Plymouth Rowing Club, which desired to hold its annual : regatta in conjunction wth the picnic. ’
