MATCHES FOR TO-MORROW. The match to-morrow at the New Plymouth links will be a foursome handicap, players to arrange their own partners and opponents. The handicap will be " half of ■ the combined medai handicaps. It is to be hoped that there will be "a good entry for this' event as foursomes are the .highest form of the game, and require a lot of scheming out at times. .Players must drive front the tee alternately. Messrs R. H. Quilliam, G. M. Chong, and H. J. M. Thompson have been appointed selectors of the North TaranakiV team. - z . •
The semi-finals of the New Plymouth club championship will be played tomorrow and the finals cn November 9. The junior final will take place to-mor-row.
In the second round of the New Plymouth Club’s senior championship, F. Quin defeated G. M. Chong yesterday by 2 up and 1 to play. Quin now meets Mackay in the semi-final.
