MINISTER’S VIEW OF TARANAKI. Praise was given by the Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, who arrived in New Plymouth on Saturday evening, to the farmers responsible for the intensive cultivation of the dairying lands of Taranaki. “I have never,” remarked Mr. de la Perrelle on Saturday, "seen the Taranaki lands looking better. Down in Southland, where I come from, we have not the same facilities as you have —I mean in dairying. The Taranaki district has always been held up to be the model dairy farm of the Dominion.
