BACKING FOK ATLANTIC FLIGHT. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. New York, Oct. 10. Squadron-Leader Kngsford Smith conferred with Captain Hancock, who backed the Southern Cross Australian flight, after which the flier announced that the Southern Cross would come to America from Europe as soon as the backing was secured to make the trans-Atlantic and trans-continental flight. He stated that his.' companions would bo Litchfield, McWilliams and Ulm.
