PROTEST FROM PIG. BREEDERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Oct. 11. A meeting of the council of the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association discussed “fishiness” in ■ bacon to-day and decided to write to the Meat Board protesting against the release of statements concerning complaints before any investigation had been made. It was decided to ask bacon factories for trouble. The Perritt Shield for most points in. pedigree Berkshire pigs was allotted to /the Hawke’s Bay A. and P.
