ROCKET TO SHOOT 30 MILES
GERMAN PROFESSOR’S TRIAL. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, Oct. 10. The Government has given Professor Oberth permission to use a lonely spot on the east coast from which to send his first experimental rocket thirty miles heavenwards. The rocket is fitted with astronomical instruments and will come down by means of a parachute when the propelling charges have been exhausted. Professor Oberth is confident that he will get important dataT from his long distance rocket.
