If I were a Fairy-Child, two inches high, I’d do all the loveliest things! I’d ride on a Swallow’s back into the sky. I’d borrow a Butterfly’s wings. The Field-Mouse would show me her little round home, I’d go there to tea with another wee Gnome, We’d play hide-and-scck in the waterfall foam, If I were a Fairy-Child!
