DAME MELBA’S VOICE
“BEAUTIFUL AS EVER.” London, Oct. '2. “Go' and tell everybody that my voice is’ as ' beautiful as ever—as fresh a.s a young girl’s,” said Dame Nellie Melba yesterday. She will sing at Brighton on Saturday in aid of the Sussex Hospital, after which she will return to Paris. Dame Nellie added, “Please make it clear that I will appear only for charity. I shall never sing again for money.”
