STEAVART—PUTT. 5 A very pretty wedding wa.s solemnised at St. Cuthbert’s Church, Alanaia, on August 29, of Frances Annie, eldest daughter of. Air. and. Airs. H. E. Putt, Alanaia, to Edward, second son of Mr. and Mrs. AV. Stewart, Fitzroy, New Plymouth, Hie Rev. Solomon being the officiating minister. Airs. Solomon presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church on, the arm of ’her father, looked charming in a pale pink frock of satin and silver lace. Her beautiful embroidered veil, of pale pink was caught at each side with orange blossom and a dainty bouquet of freesias, hyacinths and maidenhair fern, with a pink bow completed the toilet. The bridesmaids (Aliss Effie Putt, sister of the bride and Aliss Alabel Stewart, sister of the bridegroom) were attired in frocks of different shades of pink crepe de chene, and sequin head bands. They carried small bouquets to tone. Air. H. Stewart carried out the duties as best man and Air, Douglas Shaw those of groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents. Airs. Putt received her guests in a frock of rayon silk and hat io match.
