NEW FIRE LIGHTING DEVICE
PULLING OF CORD IN BED. London, Oct. 3. “Keep us simple and natural, save us trouble and preserve our digestions,” Sir Herbert Morgan, a well-known business expert, advised inventors at the opening luncheon of the Inventions Exhibition. Some exhibitors anticipated his counsels and attempted to make the kitchen safer and more pleasant. The inventions include an expanding saucepan designed to eliminate the number of lids and a device whereby a fire downstairs can be lighted by pulling a cord from thobed.Vicomte Demauduit shows a “Mixamator” which mixes and delivers all kinds of drinks automatically.
