Mr. Frank Milner, head master, who was a guest at the Waitaki Old Boys’ Association dinner in the Trocadero Hotel, said: “The Queen’s first words when I went to Buckingham Palace were: ‘My two sons’ both told me of Waitaki. Why did we not see it when we were there ?’ ”
