EARTHQUAKE ON N.S.W COAST
MUCH ALARM BUT NO DAMAGE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 6, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 6. A shock -which shook the houses for miles around was felt at Coffs Harbour at 4.30 yesterday morning accompanied by a rumbling noise. Many people were alarmed but no damage has been discovered. The Riverview observatory did not record any disturbance.
