HAMILTON CHILD’S FRIENDSHIP. ■ By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Oct. 4. Romance surrounds a bequest of £4OOO received by Bubbles Jenkinson, the 15-year-old daughter of Mr. S. J. Jenkinson, Hamilton, under the will of Mr. J. B. Carmichael, Sydney, wellknown newsprint merchant. Mr. Carmichael met the little girl 13 years ago when she was visiting her grandmother in Auckland. He took a great liking to the child, apd whenever he visited New Zealand he showed an affectionate interest in her. For years the old man and the little girl exchanged letters and photographs. When he died recently he left her £4OOO on condition that the money waa held in trust until the beneficiary wa? 21 years of age- ' ' .
