Jenkinson, Hamilton, under the will of Mr. J. B. Carmichael, Sydney, wellknown newsprint merchant. Mr. Carmichael met the little girl 13 years ago when she was visiting her grandmother in Auckland. He took a great liking to the child, apd whenever he visited New Zealand he showed an affectionate interest in her. For years the old man and the little girl exchanged letters and photographs.
