INGLEWOOD RAINFALL

SEPTEMBER BELOW AVERAGE. Following are the details of the rainfall fpr the month of September at “Riversdale,” Inglewood, reports Miss N. Trimble: — The total fall was 6.17 inches, there being 16 days with rain. The average fall for September is 9.48 inches. During the same month of 1928 there were 23 wet days with a total fall of 16.47 inches. The wettest September recorded was that of 1887, when 19.07 inches fell' on 22 days, the heaviest fall on one day being 6.14 inches. September of 1914 was the dryest September, on record; 2.48 inches fell on 10 days.
