UNIONISTS AND SHERIFFS CLASH. TWO KILLED, 5 GRAVELY INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. New York, Oct. 2. A clash between rival union factions and the deputy sheriffs, at the Marion Textile Manufacturing Company’s plant, Marion, North, Carolina, resulted in two being killed and 14 injured, five of whom are expected to die. A general gun battle caused the fatalities.
