THE WENDY HUT
LOST-A BLACK GOBLIN! S.O.S. FROM THE WENDY HUT. Where- and oh where has;,our Goblin laddie gone? And Guardian, and Tinker, and Bimbo, and Sprightly? I can’.t find them; Wendy can’t find them;'Dressmaker, Artist, Carpenter, Gardener—they can’t find them! And everyone is in despair! . How that young rascal managed to slip his message into the corner last week, w'e simply cannot imagine. He wasn't supposed to write to you that day at all. and no one in the Hut saw his “Wid mj' bundle on my shoulder, sure there’s no man could bo boulder" effort until it appealed in your very own little part of the newspaper. And I should like to know what you think of that ? Fancy being responsible for a corner, as Wendy is, and having a mischievous little imp of a Black Goblin putting in his own message without so much as ‘‘By your leave!" Can you beat it But that doesn’t matter so much. What does matter a very great deal is the fact that we've lost- our Hut Goblin and we’ve lost our Hut- pets—and we don’t'know where to find them! If a “sweet Wendy Ladj- or a kind Billy Boy" has found Billikins and his procession looking for a holiday on the Friendly Road, please -please communicate at once with Wendy or with Yours distracted, TINK.
