FLYING BOATS FOR FRANCE
TRIAL FLIGHT IN ENGLAND.

Rugby, Sept. 4. The French Ambassador and his assistant naval attache for the air service made a trial flight yesterday in a flyingboat of the Calcutta type built by Short Brothers, Rochester, for the French Government.
