‘LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE’
RIOT AT COMMUNIST DANCE.
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.
, Sydney, Sept. 2. A Communists’ dance in Sydney was marked by violent scenes. A mob of larrikins tried to gain admission, but were prevented. They returned with wood blocks from the tram-line and commenced a bombardment. Three dancers were sent to hospital. One man probably has a fractured skull. The dance went on, the orchestra playing, “Precious Little Thing Called Love.”
