SILTING OP WAIKATO RIVER
INSPECTION MADE BY MINISTER.

Hamilton, Last Night. An inspection of the Waikato Rivet was made yesterday by the Minister of Public Works (Hon. E. A. ‘Ransom). Replying to a request for assistance for a river improvements scheme for the purpose of draining adjacent land, th® Minister promised to spend £l5OO on an investigation of the proposals.
